The strike, the symbol of PD
Arbnori, Berisha’s latest victim
This is how he appeared on television, as a hungry and disfigured man, now facing viewers and with a spectacle of a decision to accept the PSP agreement made yesterday with the mediation of a government spectacle.
This is how the former speaker of parliament, Pjetër Arbnori, appeared, motivated and for the first time on hunger strike. He could not resist hunger and his wife’s comforting words. The political solution to the hunger strike was meant to protest against the burnings in Tirana through the cacophony of television voices. In a staged scene, alive and ungrateful, he was shown decade after decade as enemies. This whole move could and will be a problem for Arbnori, with such a lack of force 'at the extreme'. Moreover, he was accepted by Berisha and others, and they did not even enter into it beyond the independence from the logic of the fault they may have.
Pjetër Arbnori’s move was in the PS, to solve the problems where there should have been broad representation. The hunger strike has turned into a spectacle of decision, where before forgiveness and justification the intervention of SHISH on stage appears invisible. Thus, yesterday he appeared hungry and more defeated, while before Tirana’s television stations no long statement was given. Moreover, he announced giving up in front of the cameras under the pretext of the 14 pressing demands of the PD. He also mentioned the lack of truces and food. He was silent as if pushed. Arbnori seems to have a big problem.
The hunger camera, like any other protest event, can bring him out as a poetic sleeping man, feeling tired, but Mr. Arbnori had worn out both his body and his will. His eyes were empty and he had lost every word. Instead of food, he used cigarettes and coffee. Although under television monitoring, he did not manage to justify this act of self-sacrifice before relatives and others. When asked why he did it, he gave no convincing explanation. He only said that there was a great reason, but did not articulate it clearly. Exhaustion was written on his face.
As also appeared on television, one of his conditions was not to be morally harmed. However, the decision to withdraw from the strike clearly was no longer in his hands. Berisha and the other PD leaders had become the backdrop to this decision. In the small protest hall, where he sat, everything looked more like a sad ending than a political victory. The few words, the weak voice and the trembling hands clearly showed that he was the next victim of this policy.
At that moment, even those who had pushed him toward the strike seemed to want to wash their hands of him. Arbnori was no longer a symbol of strength, but a sign of the wear and tear of a mistaken battle. And precisely at this point, he became the bitterest symbol of a party that was losing control over its own people. That is why his strike turned into a bleak picture of the PD crisis and of Berisha’s role in it.

Independent Albania under the violence of causes and tarrja
What has 'Nano' done like the 'Meksi' government?
Independent Albania, a bench of discrimination by the state’s independent servant with tables and your people of no hope. He, like a boy, protests in order to find the misery of humanity seated on the benches of the nearby filming. Everyone burned, frightened and threatened with weapons and words, contributors to this wet scene, he has become a symbol of protest and misery. But what is happening? Is the history of the 'Meksi' government repeating itself?
In the eyes of the public, the comparison with that government is immediate. The lack of order, insecurity, mutual accusations and the inability to govern create the idea of a return to a time that Albania had experienced at a high cost. This question is raised in every conversation, in every protest and on every television screen.
